Check out Zhenkun Na and Xiaoyun Dai’s new work, online now at Molecular Cell. They developed a proximity biotinylation pipeline suitable for microprotein detection, and used it to generate a subnuclear map of the unannotated proteome for human and mouse. A great collaboration with Susan Baserga and Sidi Chen’s groups at Yale.
