Xiongwen and Alex’s paper in collaboration with Carson and Cecelia in the laboratory of Dr. Susan Baserga is out online today at Nature Chemical Biology! They describe a chemoproteomic strategy to identify regulated sythesis of previously unannotated small proteins in human cells, which led to the identification of a totally new regulatory node in the ribosome biogenesis pathway.
